Background Information:

Many studies report the benefits to children of having both parents involved in their lives.  No studies exist anywhere to support treating parents unequally in an intact marriage results in healthier children.  So why do we tolerate it once parents are separated or divorced?

Many states family laws currently encourage family destruction
by forcing one parent to be chosen and one parent to be eliminated.

Fear of losing relationships with their children causes parents to fight bitter custody battles.

The very concept of child support to a custodial parent creates a financial incentive to fight over children. Holding one parent responsible financially while not even requiring spending accountability for the other is an abuse under color of law. 

Custodial labeling of parents provides the basis for this discrimination.  

We can make PEACE by assuring both parents they will not

lose their children.  We believe that much of the conflict in divorce and custody battles can be eliminated by simply demanding equal treatment of both parents. 

Penalties for false allegations intended to influence custody proceedings will reduce the level of conflict and protect families.
